The development story of “Makedonijalek” dates back to 1978. The company has been operating with a permanent ownership structure since 1991.

Through several decade operations, “Makedonijalek” has grown into a modern and well-organized company – a leader in its industry. The numerous awards, acknowledgments and certificates constitute an additional confirmation of the high values and principles guiding the work of “Makedonijalek”.

With a view to serving its clients in an expeditious, timely, quality and precise manner,

“Makedonijalek” owns today a modern administrative building with an area of 800m², as well as modern warehouse facilities with an area of 1.850 ² and consigment stock warehouse with an area of 250 m ², all organized in accordance with all the norms of the ISO quality standards, the Quality Management System and the EU Directive on Good Distribution Practice.

Makedonijlek is the first pharmaceutical wholesaler in Macedonia wich has implemented semi-automatic system for warehouse operations by the Austrian company KNAPP.

Whith this level of high-tech equipment Makedonijalek has improved its quality, speed and efficiency.

Its warehouse facilities are equipped with several cooling chambers, as well as with special storage rooms for drugs and products requiring a special storage regime. Warehouses are also equipped with state-of-the-art Information Technology facilities with regard to the continued monitoring and control of the temperature and of other important parameters.

For the purposes of a fast, safe and secure transport of our products, “Makedonijalek” owns a modern vehicle fleet including a number of cars, delivery trucks and air-conditioned pick-up trucks.

In addition, “Makedonijalek” owns an electricity generator, a fully integrated fire protection system and an internal security system with a guard service of its own, which makes “Makedonijalek” a reliable, secure and serious partner.
